New Android Phones 2013: Moto G With 4.5" Display, Quad-Core Processor, 1GB RAM, Pre-Maturely Goes On Sale In US, Starts At $179

During the Motorola event, the company said its brand new entry-level phone Moto G will make its way to the market by early next year. However, as early as November, it has become one of the new Android phones in 2013 as it officially goes on sale in the US.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Motorola website just announced the availability of the device and is ready for purchase starting at $179 for the 8GB version, and $199 for the 16GB variant. That's pretty affordable for a phone manufactured by Google-owned Motorola, though the phone boasts just decent specs to be above the entry-level competition. The company says shipment will begin on Dec. 2.

The Moto G sports a 4.5" Gorilla Glass 3 display with 720p resolution, perfect for gaming and entertainment apps. It also has a Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.2Ghz Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB of RAM, Adreno 305 for more fluid gameplay.

Motorola's newest phone also comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, with KitKat rolling out in early 2014.

Unfortunately, consumers who prefer the CDMA version may want to wait for January.
