Nexus 10 2 Release Date Rumors: Next-Gen 10-Inch Android Tablet Not Coming On Black Friday 2013; Google Planning To Launch Hybrid Device Running On Chrome OS?

Nexus 10 2 release date rumors persist to emerge online.

Previous speculations regarding Nexus 10 2 release date suggest that the device would arrive on November 21, alongside the launch of the refreshed version of the tablet-optimized Google Play Store. However, it did not happen.

Moreover, Nexus 10 2 release date rumors that popped up before also suggested the possbiblity that the device may launch on November 22 to compete with Apple's latest iPad model, the iPad Mini 2 with Retina display that was set to arrive on the same date. But again, there was no new Google tablet that came out last Friday.

With this, the rumors focused on another possible Nexus 10 2 release date, which is on November 29, in which the biggest sales event of the year, Black Friday, is set to happen.

However, fresh Nexus 10 2 release date rumors were hinting that the internet search giant may skip the 2013 launch of the 10-inch tablet to compete with other full-sized tabled devices during the shopping frenzy on Black Friday.

According to a post on International Business Times, Google is cooking up a better alternative, which more likely, can be a hybrid device, which will be running on Chrome OS. This is according the John Freml, who noted that Google's 'the backpedal move' could be because of the not-so impressive market performance of the original Nexus 10 model.

On his blog post, Freml wrote, "Maybe it makes sense for Google to focus Android where it's most successful (on anything 7-inches and smaller)."

But nevertheless, reports about Nexus 10 2 release date remain to be rumors, thus, tech fans should take the information with a grain of salt. Besides, Android enthusiasts only need to wait for a few more days to see if Nexus 10 2 will actually be available on Black Friday.
