Paris Hilton’s Net Worth Doesn’t Come From Her Controversial Tape 'One Night In Paris'; Hotel Heiress Claims She Makes Money Using ‘Nice Ways’

Even if her controversial tape 'One Night in Paris' became famous, Paris Hilton claims that she did not get a cent from its earnings.

In 2004, the video of the hotel heiress and her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon was leaked. Such video was sold and uploaded to different websites. The video was likewise reproduced for people who wanted to purchase it.

However, Hilton tells TMZ that not a single dollar from her net worth came from the video:  "I never made a dollar. I don't like people using my name to make money, especially in such a gross way."

The 'Simple Life' star was able to shut down one Slovenia-based website which earned money by hosting short clips of her tape.  She says that she does not know that the website existed. After being informed about it, she did her best to source experts that could file a complaint against the website owners.

The 32-year-old actress and model was once asked in 2007 to sign a deal that would permit a company to produce her very own inflatable blowup dolls. If she agreed to such deal, the company would pay her a hefty amount.

Hilton turned down the idea for it freaked her out: "They were like, 'They'll sell for $50,000 each, it'll be the real-life you.' And I'm like, 'I really don't want a real-life me with anyone, anywhere. No!'"

The 'Hottie and the Nottie' actress is proud that her businesses specifically her fashion and beauty lines are significant sources for her money.

"I make enough money in nice ways. My fragrance makes enough I don't need to worry," proudly shared the socialite.
