‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers: Fans Will Soon Be ‘So Sick’ Of Seeing The Mother, Producer Promises; Will Cristin Milioti Win A Guest Emmy For 200th Episode?

"How I Met Your Mother" season 9 airs tonight, and though many fans have complained that The Mother has been absent in most episodes, executive producer Craig Thomas promises The Mother will have a lot of screen time in the future, especially in the 200th episode of "How I Met Your Mother" season 9.

"You're going to be so sick of her by the end [of the series]," executive producer Craig Thomas joked about The Mother, played by Cristin Milioti, TVLine.com reports.

Thomas added that Cristin Milioti is "the star" of the 200th episode of "How I Met Your Mother," which is aptly titled "How Your Mother Met Me." The season 9 episode is told from the perspective of The Mother, and so she will feature heavily.

"Our 100th episode was very much a celebration of the cast - not the cast doesn't deserve celebrating even more after 200 episodes - but this is a different kind of story," executive producer Carter Bays added. "It's about the tale. It felt like a different kind of 200th episode, but it felt like the right one to do in terms of the greater story of the show."

Not only will Cristin Milioti have a lot more screen time, but her performance as The Mother is reportedly very impressive - in fact, Thomas even believes Milioti's acting is award-winning in season 9 of "How I Met Your Mother."

"If she doesn't get nominated for a guest Emmy for this episode, I don't know what one has to do to get that," Thomas raved. "She's fantastic in it. Anyone who wants more of her will love this episode."

Fans are eagerly awaiting for that moment when Ted and his future wife finally meet at the train station. But in flash-forwards, it looks like Ted is not in a great state while at the station. He's sporting a bandaged hand and an equally-wounded heart as he struggles with his feelings for Robin during her wedding.

But Bays promises Ted will heal quickly.

"It's a bruising weekend for everybody," Bays said. "A lot goes down. But he's going to meet [The Mother] at exactly the right time in his life."

"Ted will be very happy at the end of the series," Thomas assured.
