Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner are rumored to be dating since they were spotted having a romantic midnight date in West Hollywood. Did older sister Khloe Kardashian set up Kendall Jenner with Harry Styles, because she knew how much Kendall loved One Direction?

"Khloé would love her sister to be dating someone who's a bit more clean cut and who has his own money. Khloé knows that Kendall loves One Direction, and she's met Harry before and thinks that he'd be a perfect match for her sister," an insider told Heat Magazine, Entertainmentwise.com reports.

So how does the source say Khloe Kardashian managed to get Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner to start dating?

According to the insider, Khloe appeared on Nick Grimshaw's radio 1 Breakfast Show during her promotional trip to London last month. According to Entertainmentwise, Harry is very close friends with Grimshaw, and the insider reports that Khloe managed to persuade the DJ to help her hook up Kendall and Harry.

Nick reportedly passed on Harry's contact details to Khloe.

"Kendall was the first person Harry called when he landed in the US last week," the source added.

Khloe isn't the only family member who is pleased with the possibility of Harry and Kendall dating. Momager Kris Jenner is reportedly hoping that any future relationship will help boost Kendall's modelling career internationally.

"With Kim now very much tied up with Kanye West, Kris is looking to Kendall to take her place as the next heir to the Kardashian throne," an insider claimed to Grazia.

But Kendall has been downplaying the date. She told E News' Guiliana Rancic that they're friends, but didn't expand.

Her younger sister Kylie Jenner added: "It's very hard to have friends of the opposite sex."

"You go out with one person, you're automatically dating them," Kendall agreed.
