Derek Hough posted a photo on his Instagram last night of him and Kenny Hamilton looking at each other with confused expressions, along with the caption: "What are you doing in Atlanta ?"

Nina Dobrev is usually in Atlanta, Georgia, filming her series "The Vampire Diaries." Is Derek Hough visiting his ex-girlfriend? We can only think of one reason he would fly to see Nina in the south: to reconcile and start dating again.

As we previously reported, Nina spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Derek Hough's family, according to her recent Instagram photos. Nina Dobrev's best friend is Derek's sister, Julianne Hough. Though Nina posted many snaps of Julianne in their family home, Derek wasn't pictured. Either she was keeping it on the DL that she was seeing him again, or he couldn't make it to the Thanksgiving festivities because of his "DWTS" commitment.

One thing's for sure: Nina Dobrev is still on good terms with Derek Hough.

They dated for a few short weeks over the summer, before breaking off their romance. Even if they're not ready to announce getting back together, Nina has tweeted to Derek a few times recently.

She recently re-tweeted a post by Amber Riley, which read: "derekhough we can line dance too"

According to Classicalite, Nina also tweeted her congratulations to Derek: "Congratulations @derekhough + @msamberpriley !!!!! Way to stomp,shimmy and shake your way to first place! You deserve it! Proud of you both!"

While we're happy Derek is in Atlanta with Nina, that must be one awkward encounter for her other ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder on "The Vampire Diaries" set.
