Jessica Hart Taylor Swift Remark Did Not Anger Victoria’s Secret Execs; Supermodel Not Fired And Still Part of The VS Angels

Victoria's Secret officially released a statement denying reports that Jessica Hart's Taylor Swift remark made its executives remove the supermodel from its roster of Angels. During the 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show, Hart said something about the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer which enraged the fans of the pop singer.

In an official statement to the New York Post, chief marketing officer Ed Razek said that they did not axe Hart: "There is no truth to the rumors that Jessica Hart has been fired or that she will no longer work with the brand. As you will see, she was a great part of our show and we look forward to continuing to work with her. As previously reported, we at Victoria's Secret and all those involved, including Jessica Hart, were thrilled to have Taylor be a part of the show. We look forward to sharing her performances next week during the television special."

During the after party of the lingerie label's fashion show last November 13, Hart was asked whether Swift could likewise grace the runway as a lingerie model. "God bless her heart. I think she's great but I don't know. To me, she didn't fit," said Hart.

Such comment allegedly infuriated the executives of Victoria's Secret. Reports then started to circulate that Hart would no longer join her fellow Victoria's Secret angels in the upcoming fashion shows and that she would no longer appear in the season catalogs.

A few days after the interview, the Sports Illustrated model withdrew her comment and even declared herself as a fan of Swift.  She claimed that the reporter merely misinterpreted what she said.
