Adam Brody's 'The O.C.' days are totally over but he will be reuniting with his former network as he returns for a guest sting on 'New Girl'.

In an episode that's slated for release in 2014, Leighton Meester's boyfriend now fiancé will be playing Berkley, the hip ex-boyfriend of Jess' many years ago. Berkley now a married stay-at-home father.  As opposed to Nick who encounters difficulties in sharing his feelings, Berkley is an open book and even takes pride that he has mastered the art of being an ex-boyfriend. This is likewise the apparent reason why he and Jess remain friends despite the break-up.

Apart from 'New Girl', The League' and 'House of Lies' are his most recent TV appearances. The episode was filmed last December 2.
