Elder Scrolls Online Release Date Version Allows Players To Choose A Class At The Beginning Of The Game? Publishers Reveal Information About RPG

Elder Scrolls Online publisher Bethesda revealed more information about the highly anticipated role-playing game, revealing that users will be able to choose a class at the beginning of the game.

"Being both an Elder Scrolls game and an online RPG, we've faced some unique challenges," the publisher wrote in a blog post.

"In Elder Scrolls games, your character can do anything, and, after much adventure, almost everything. In multiplayer games, though, it can be important to stand out from the crowd. How would we preserve a distinct Elder Scrolls feel but give still everyone the opportunity to develop an identity?"

Elder Scrolls Online developers released a new video revealing new information about character-building options in the game, giving users more options for creation.

"When you choose a race and class at character creation, you gain access to one racial skill line and three class-based skill lines, but you also have access to a plethora of other skill lines so that neither race nor class forces you into a certain role," Joystiq.com reports.

"As you level, you gain skill points and attribute points, allowing you to customize your abilities as well as your individual distribution among survivability, magical skill, and weapon-based resources."

ZeniMax and Bethesda had released teasers for Elder Scrolls Online, leaving manygamers wondering if the developers will leak release date information in the next few weeks.

"First, ZeniMax and Bethesda have posted a teaser, hinting that over the next couple of weeks, they will be releasing various updates about the game, including new concept artwork, an in-depth gameplay video, detailed Q&A sessions with the community and more.

So yes, we have things to look out for," GamerHeadlines.com reports.
