"Anchorman 2" star Paul Rudd will host for the third time on Dec. 7, with returning musical guest One Direction. Rudd last appeared on "SNL" in 2010, hosting with musical guest Paul McCartney, Entertainment Weekly reports. This will be the second "Saturday Night Live" appearance for One Direction. One Direction first appeared on "SNL" in 2012. Their new album, "Midnight Memories," dropped Nov. 25.

"This is our kind of show," Niall Horan noted at the time to MTV News last year. "This is our perfect kind of show [and] we get involved as much as we can."
