Game of Thrones' Video Game Coming From the People Who Brought You The Walking Dead Game; HBO Partners With Telltale for Sexy Game Adaptation

"Game of Thrones," one of HBO's most popular shows is coming to video consoles everywhere and soon. Made by the same people who brought "The Walking Dead" to video game players everywhere, the new Game of Thrones game is based on the adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire books.

HBO and Telltale, the makers of "The Walking Dead" video games announced that they are partnering up on a new video game based on "Game of Thrones." Yes, winter is coming, the walkers are shaking off the snow and will soon storm the wall to get to your gaming console.

Fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will soon be able to take on the role of their favorite characters in the upcoming video game.

Telltale is developing the "Game of Thrones" games. In 2012 Telltale created the acclaimed The Walking Dead game. HBO, of course, owns Game of Thrones.

in a press release Dan Connors, co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games wrote "Since the very beginning, Telltale's goal has been to work alongside the most talented and respected forces in entertainment, bringing their worlds to the interactive space as no other game studio can. Working with HBO to develop a new game series based on Game of Thrones is a natural fit for our studio. This partnership will create an experience that will captivate the huge, global Game of Thrones audience. It will put them in control of the epic stories of warfare, intrigue, violence and revenge that we know and love."
