Install Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update On Samsung Galaxy Note 2; Firmware Now Available On The T-Mobile Version Of The Phablet

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 receives official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

Those who have the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 can now install the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update as the firmware continue to rollout in the US, as posted on Gotta Be Mobile.

Back in October, Samsung announced that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update will be released on various Galaxy devices. Accordingly, the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update will be available on Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2.

Though US network carriers refused to announce the release date of the firmware, a document was leaked suggesting that the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update would start to push out in late November.

And last month, Sprint Galaxy Note 2 received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, followed by the firmware upgrade for the US Cellular few days after.

And today, T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 is starting to receive the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. The firmware is expected to be bringing in support for Samsung Galaxy Gear, Samsung Knox, as well as a number of fixes and enhancements such as the improved Multi-Window View feature found on the Galaxy Note 3.

However, users of US-branded Samsung Galaxy devices have been complaining about issues on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Those with T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might want to wait for a few days first until the issues are already clear.

The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available through Over-The-Air (OTA) notification and via the Samsung KIES tool. The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, as posted on Android Authority, has a baseband version T889UVUCMK7.  Reportedly, the file for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is pretty massive, with over 600 MB in size.
