iPhone 6 Rumors: New iPhone Rumored To Come In 5-6" Phablet Version, Alleged Features Include 3D Sensors And Better Touch ID Functions

It is fascinating how a lot of people are looking forward for iPhone 6 rumors, even before the year ends. That's because almost everyone is pretty excited what Apple would come up with for its next flagship device. Now, another rumor surfaced claiming that similar to Apple's event this year, the company will also launch two iPhone 6 versions in 2014.

According to a source in a report by the Latin Post, the newest iPhone could have several screen variations ranging from 4.7 to 5.7 inches.

"Apple's 2013 focus was a less expensive iPhone to go alongside its standard flagship offering, while 2014 development will center around a bigger display," he said. "Apple is reportedly testing a variety of different prototypes. All of the reports have indicated a size ranging from 4.7 to 5.7 inches."

"There may be multiple models, just as we saw with the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C," he added. "We may be looking at a 4.8-inch 'standard' model to replace the iPhone 5S and a larger 5-inch to 6-inch model as a phablet competitor."

This year, Apple launched two iPhones for the first time in its history. And while the goal was to expand the company's coverage in different price levels, the iPhone 5c failed miserably due to its high price tag.

Now, it looks like the company is moving toward another direction - bigger instead of cheaper.

In another report, the new iPhone 6 will reportedly have 3D sensors for better photography features. But while these features are certainly too technical, we would gladly appreciate any that would further the iPhone's already excellent camera modes and capacities.

To top it off, the Touch ID would also be getting a major improvement. In recent rumors, it would eventually be able to detec fingerprint swiping and turning to further improve security when using certain apps or logging in particular websites.

Of course, all of these rumors are still unconfirmed so we may want to take all of these with more than a pinch of salt.
