Miranda Kerr New Boyfriend James Packer Believer of Scientology PLUS Other Things About The Australian Billionaire

While fans are hoping for a Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom reconciliation, such expectations are unlikely to happen now that the supermodel is reportedly dating an Australian billionaire. Apart from being wealthy, little is known about Miranda Kerr's new boyfriend James Packer. No confirmation has been aired yet but the two are reportedly seeing each other.

Although not a celebrity, Packer is known to have a penchant for famous and beautiful women. His ex-girlfriends include former Playboy cover girl Joan Severance, British TV personality Tania Bryer, singer Deni Hines, and actress Kate Fischer. His first wife his swimsuit model Jodhi Meares but the two parted ways. Prior to Kerr, he was married to model Erica Baxter for six years. The couple just announced their split a few months ago.

The 46-year-old businessman has similarly co-produced the thriller 'Gravity' which starred Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Aside from having a media background, he is close friends with Tom Cruise and even supports Scientology. Packer reportedly took lessons which enlightened him about the religion.

According to the Forbes Magazine, the father of four's wealth reaches 7.7 billion AUD. Known as the third richest man in Australia, it is normal for him to own a cruise ship, a private jet, a 12-seater chopper, and an array of luxury cars.

Previous reports claim that Packer and his ex-wife Baxter used to be friends with Kerr and Bloom. The four even had a double date. When the Victoria's Secret Angel was just starting out her organic skincare business, Baxter was constantly there for her to give tips.

Despite the rumors of Kerr and Packer dating, Baxter will reportedly remain friends with the former face of Mango. According to an insider, Baxter is a "dignified" woman who will not turn her back on Kerr if she is indeed dating the business tycoon.

"They have been dear friends for years ever since Erica was living and modeling in London. They are still close and will remain friends," adds the source.
