Upcoming Windows 8 Tablets: Rumored Nokia 8.3" Tablet Packed With 1080p Display Already Undergoes Testing

In October, Nokia released one of the awaited and upcoming Windows 8 tablets during its Abu Dhabi event. However, it looks like the Finnish manufacturer is still poised to release a smaller 8.3" slate to take on similar devices with the same dimensions. 

The announced Lumia 2520 sports a 10.1" display, while this alleged slate will only offer 8.3" FullHD IPS display of screen estate. However, this is the perfect route for Nokia as it provides an option for consumers in all device sizes. 

According to leaked import documents in India, the Nokia slate is already under evaluation. Dubbed under codename RX-115, the rumored Nokia tablet may feature Windows 8 RT just like the Lumia 2520.
