HTC One Review: Android 4.3-Powered Flagship’s Specs Feature 4.7-inch Full HD Display, Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core Processor; Billed One Of The Best For 2013

HTC One review: The flagship of Taiwanese tech giant HTC has been billed by U.K.’s Mobile Choice magazine as the best phone for 2013. According to Phone Arena, the HTC One also was awarded the Best Video Camera on a phone and Best Design. The handset sold 5 million units during its first two months of worldwide release and is one of HTC’s most successful launch in its history.

Specs of this celebrated and widely-received device include a 4.7-inch 1080p full HD display that has a high resolution and great pixel density. The unit’s resolution is at 1080 x 1920 with a ppi of 468, one of the highest in the industry. It has a 4-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, high dynamic range mode and video calling and is coupled with a 2.1 megapixel camera at the back. Storage for the unit maxes out at 32GB.

Phone Arena has noted the very big display of the HTC One as huge plus including the high-resolution and extremely high pixel density of the unit. The quad-core processor, lots of RAM for the unit and a fast mobile processor are some of the other pluses of the HTC One.

CNET, in a review titled “The gorgeous HTC One is a winner” writes that HTC One takes great pictures and has a feature-packed camera app. It describes its metal design as “stunning” it’s screen boast the “most impressive viewing experience of any phone” HTC has created.

A few drawbacks for the phone includes the fact that it lacks a microSD slot for additional storage and the price, $601.99 as per CNET for the unlocked version could still be challenging to swallow.

In a sea of high-powered Android handsets, notwithstanding very few minuses of the HTC One, the smartphone is proving itself to be one of the best units around.
