Nokia Lumia 929 Verizon, Release Date: Rumored Device Expected To Be Launched This Month, Will Have 5-inch 1080P Display And Priced At $500

Nokia Lumia 929 release date: It was expected to arrive Black Friday, but the rumored Nokia Lumia 929 was nowhere in sight during the important shopping weekend. In a November 30 article, Windows Phone Central reported that the upcoming Nokia device will have a mid to late December release date.

According to the site, the Nokia Lumia 929, which according to a leaked image is a Verizon phone, is expected to have a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and will be running on a Snapdragon 800 processor. On a spec sheet of the rumored model in Phone Arena, it says that the unit maybe available at a price point of $500. It’s also expected to have a 2510mAh battery.

Phone Arena says that the Nokia Lumia 929 could be the most important Windows Phone once its launched. The rumored specs for the unit is similar to the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet, with its 5-inch screen. The mobile industry-focused site said that the Lumia 929 is the company’s response to the bevy of Android models with 5-inch screens in the market today.

The top-shelf specs of the device is expected to go against Android models like Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z1 and the LG G2.

A December 1 report by Phone Arena notes that mid-to-late December arrival of the Nokia Lumia 929 is pretty accurate since Amazon.com has already started selling accessories with information on when they’ll be available. The online retail giant is shipping the IQ Shield LIQuidSkin screen protector for the device on the 20th of this month.
