HTC One 2 M8 Release Date: Specs And Features Of HTC's Upcoming Flagship Highlighted In Concept Video

For some time now, the HTC One 2 M8 release date has been making the rounds in the rumor mill, and for good reason. It will certainly follow the footsteps of the highly successful HTC One which was released early this year.

However, no one has successfully imagined the device like the guys at TechRadar who even made a concept video.

As you can see from the video, the makers certainly know what they are talking about when it comes to design. In addition, the super thin bezels also provide more screen estate for users who prefer watching movies or playing games on their Android device.

It also imagined the HTC One 2 M8 as having a 5" screen with 2K display 2560x1440, the first for the Taiwanese manufacturer. The Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.3GHz (we assume Krait 400) CPUs are also staple in the flagship category.

However, the concept specs which would surely get attention are the 10MP UltraPixel camera, a vast improvement to the measly 4MP of the previous HTC flagship. Another cool feature is the fingerprint sensor to unlock the device from sleep, and we can only imagine how much more uses it would have on a daily basis.

To top it off, there is Sense 6, which the video makers claim to be the smoothest and fastest HTC UI you would use, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box to get the latest services and goodies from Google.

The HTC One 2 M8 release date could fall within the Q1 of 2014.
