‘Fable Anniversary’ Release Date: HD Remake Of ‘Fable 1’ Coming to Xbox 360 On February 4; Launch-Day Outfits And Weapons Pack Also Included As In-Game Bonuses
"Fable Anniversary" release date for the Xbox 360 has been announced.
According to Lionhead Studios, the Fable Anniversary release date in the US is set for February 4. Three days later, European gamers can already get hold of their own copies of the HD remake of Fable 1, as the Fable Anniversary release date in the region is set for February 7.
The blog post on Lionhead's official website reads, "Those desperate to get their hands on Fable Anniversary as early as possible will be pleased to hear that it will hit the shelves on the 4th February 2014 in North America, the 6th February in Asia and the 7th February in Europe!"
Aside from the announcement regarding the Fable Anniversary release date; it was also revealed that there will be in-game bonuses available for the first run copies to celebrate the launch of the Xbox 360 title.
Some of the in-game contents to get from the Fable Anniversary, which can be found "inside a shiny, slip-on embossed case"are the Launch Day Outfits and Weapons Pack and the Lion-head Avatar Helmet.
For the Launch Day Outfits, here is the list of what the gamers will be able to acquire, as posted on Game Rant:
- Scythe's Outfit
- A Black Graduate Outfit
- A Red Prophet Outfit
- A Blue Guard Outfit
- A Red Guard Outfit
Meanwhile, the weapons available as in-game bonuses for the Fable Anniversary are:
- A Lute Weapon
- A Will User's Sceptre Weapon
Fable Anniversary release date was originally scheduled for fall 2013, but was delayed to give more time for the game developer to refine the game.
Furthermore, Lionhead is also currently developing the spin-off battle game Fable Legends, which is expected to launch in beta for the Xbox One at some point in 2014.
