Golden Globe Nominations 2013 For Television Dominated By ‘Breaking Bad’; Zooey Deschanel Aiming For Best Actress Award For ‘New Girl’

The Golden Globe Nominations 2013 for Television are officially released and AMC's crime drama 'Breaking Bad' is leading the charts after being nominated for 3 categories.

In the Best Drama Category, 'Breaking Bad' will be competing with 'House of Cards', 'Masters of Sex', 'The Good Wife', and 'Downtown Abbey'. AMC's series, which lasted for two years, revolved around the life of Walter White, a chemistry teacher turned drug dealer.

Apart from being a part of the 71st Golden Globe nominees, 'Breaking Bad' likewise took home 10 Emmy Awards. It likewise nabbed the 13th spot in the Writers Guild of America's official list of 101 Best-Written TV Series of All Time.

Bryan Cranston, who plays White's Character, is nominated for Best Actor in Drama. He will be competing with 'Master of Sex's' Michael Sheen, 'The Blacklist's' James Spader, 'Ray Donovan's' Live Schreiber, and 'House of Cards'' Kevin Spacey.

Aaron Paul, whose character is White's sidekick Jesse Pinkman, is nominated for Best Suppoting Actor in Drama.
