Pokemon X And Y Patch 1.2 Download: New Update Eliminates Battle Analyser And Instacheck!

Pokemon X and Y have been released for two months, and a new patch has been released on the eShop to update your 3DS purchase and eliminate cheats!

The new Pokemon X and Y patch is the second patch since the release, and is required if you want to do online gameplay. Patch 1.2 addresses the following:

-A bug causing Pokemon to not learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade.

-A bug where certain captions for Trainer PR Videos are not unlocked in Lumiose City.

-Updates an Internet communication issue.

The Internet issue is regarding data snooping mechanisms like Battle Analyser and Instacheck. Battle Analyser allows you to see your opponents' move sets and even the move they select that turn before you select yours. Instacheck, meanwhile, allows you to see the Shiny Values of your Pokemon.

But thanks to the new Pokemon X and Y patch, they are a thing of the past.

This Pokemon X and Y patch requires 236 blocks to download, and according to Serebii, Rating Battles have been reactivated in the Battle Spot part of the game.

Clearly, Nintendo is doing their best to promote legitimate gameplay and shut down cheating methods.

"Good! I'm glad they fixed up those issues. Hopefully they have patches/downloads soon that have some bonus content. More clothes or something would be nice. Maybe a downloadable Christmas sweater," wrote RocketClauncher on Pokejungle.

"I wonder if they added data for anything else such as new Pokemon, hidden abilities, or items. Hmm," pondered Shiny Noivern.
