Nexus 5 Vs. iPhone 5s: 4 Reasons Why Apple's Flagship Smartphone Is Better

The match-up Nexus 5 vs. iPhone 5s is certainly a classic, considering that both devices are two of the most sold handsets in the industry today. However, there are certain angles we will cover in this comparison, and let us see why the Apple flagship is better than the Google phone.

1. It has a smaller screen

While most of today's smartphones race toward the 6-7" mark of display, Apple continues in its leisurely pace. Now at only 4 inches, the iPhone 5s' screen may be small for some users, but it definitely has its market as well. For people who prefer using their phones with one hand, anywhere beyond 4.3 inches is already difficult to handle.

2. It is faster

A lot of Android fans think that Snapdragons are a lot faster when equipped in Droids. Because the chipset is not highly optimized for the particular device, performance will be severely affected. Whereas, Apple itself builds its chipsets, assembles the hardware, and even develops the operating system, resulting in a more optimized performance for its iPhones and other devices.

3. It has better camera

Even during Apple's previous iPhone models, camera performance has always been top-notch. Now that it has an improved Burst Mode and a Slo-Mo option for video playback, it certainly gets the upper hand over the competition. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 has been having camera issues ever since it launched. Subsequent updates, 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 have already rolled out to fix it, though we are not sure if those updates have really solves those issues.

4. It has a unique fingerprint sensor

Whether it is a gimmick or not, the Touch ID sensor is a welcome addition to the already feature-packed iPhone 5s. And as mentioned by lots of reports, the potential for its use is limitless once its benefits have been harnessed properly. Meanwhile, the only notable feature of the Nexus 5 is the newest version of Android, KitKat. But on the other hand Apple's handset already has an improved iOS 7 so that cancels KitKat right away.
