iPad Pro Rumors: New Apple Slate Tipped To Come With 'Ultra-High Definition' Resolution, Will Allegedly Have Two Release Dates

Recently, the mill containing several iPad Pro rumors has become filled with more speculations from industry analysts. Now, another report claims that the rumored slate will feature a much better screen than the Retina display of both the iPad Air and iPad mini 2.

The bigger display for the iPad was first rumored in a report by Wall Street Journal as well as Barclays Equity.

Now, an unnamed source claims that the upcoming Apple slate will have better display.

"As the Apple partner intends to boost its lineup for displays that have almost ultra high-definition (UHD) quality, the upcoming iPad will provide very clear quality similar to that of UHD", he said in an interview with The Korea Times.

Through this high definition display, Apple reportedly aims to take on Samsung head to head as it releases its own tablet with similar dimensions.

The report says Apple may launch a 2K resolution iPad Pro in April, and a 4K variant in October. Both slates will have 12.9 inches of screen estate.
