Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Sells 10 Million Copies; DLCs Available Now With 50% Discount; PC Version Reaches 13 Million Sales Milestone

Minecraft's success continues to soar as it recently reached new milestones.

To celebrate the success of "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition," Microsoft is offering a number of the game's DLC for a cheaper price.

As posted on Examiner, citing Major Nelson from Microsoft, Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition has recently reached the 10 million sales milestone. And because of this new achievement, many of the downloadable contents and add-one for the game is currently on sale now. DLCs for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition are available with 50% discount only this Saturday. Check out the current offering now before Saturday ends.

The discount for selected DLC of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is available on all the skin and texture packs of the game, including Fantasy Texture Pack, which was made available last week. However, the licensed-mash up packs of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is not included in the current promo offered by Microsoft.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Eiditon was originally released in digital form in May 2012. But earlier this year, physical retail form of the game was launched, giving chances for gamers to play to game even without connection to internet.

On the other hand, the PC version of Minecraft also reached a huge milestone. The game, which fully launched in 2011 has already sold more than 13 million copies.

As for more news about Minecraft, 4J Studios recently shared that the PS3 version of the game is currently the team's priority. The same post on IB Times reads, "the game was almost over and is working on additional bug fixes."
