Simon Cowell’s Pregnant Girlfriend Ousts X-Factor Creator From Baby Shower? Lauren Silverman Invites His Exes But Sinitta Is Noticeably Absent!
Simon Cowell may have organized the baby shower for his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman in his Beverly Hills home but the 'X Factor' creator wasn't even invited to the party. He was left in the cold and it was like being kicked out of your own party.
Not that Cowell would lose sleep about it. In fact, he holed out in a luxurious Peninsula hotel and pampered himself.
"I booked into a hotel and had a massage. I wasn't really welcome, but they had a good time," the "X Factor" creator told Jay Leno when prompted how he spent his time during the baby shower.
The record producer also tweeted after the event: "Still not sure what a baby shower is."
His presence could also turn a little awkward since his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman invited Cowell's exes Mezhgan Hussainy and Terri Seymour. However, one former girlfriend who was conspicuously missing was Sinitta, which was understandable considering the circumstances.
It was in October when Daily Mail reported that Sinitta confessed to aborting her baby with Simon Cowell during the 1980s. However, she added in a follow-up report that her health condition wouldn't have allowed her to carry the child to full term.
Both Cowell and Sinitta have been in a relationship on and off for two decades. They reportedly remained friends to this day.
Meanwhile, the guests of the baby shower enjoyed an English tea party at Cowell's garden. Wine and champagne were also on hand for guests who didn't much like tea.
Simon Cowell told People mag that he was surprised by how many presents his little boy received.
"There were a lot of them. There were a lot of clothes. It looks like I'm having 100 kids right now, there are so many," he said.
Both Cowell and Lauren Silverman are planning a vacation in the Carribean where they will spend their Christmas. Still not clear whether Cowell will propose there, especially now that his pregnant girlfriend's divorce with her former husband was finalized.
