TV Equals reports the official synopsis of the mid-season finale airing tonight: "The gang encounters a guy at the wedding who intentionally stirs up trouble among them, and Marshall finally arrives at the Farhampton Inn."

Fans can expect to see a lot more of the Mother in this episode, executive producer Craig Thomas promised in a spoiler on Twitter.

Thomas wrote on his Twitter: "Folks are asking if The Mother is in the next new #HIMYM. I could say 'No spoilers.' Or I could just say, 'Yes. A LOT.'"

Thomas also promised that fans can expect to see more of the Mother, played by Cristin Milioti, during the 200th episode of "How I Met Your Mother," which airs in late January.

"You're going to be so sick of her by the end [of the series]," the executive producer told TV Line.

According to TV Equals, Andrew Rannells, known for his role in the Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon," guest stars as Darren in tonight's episode.
