Miley Cyrus released a topless Christmas card via Twitter last weekend, leaving many wondering if the popularity from the nudity in her "Wrecking Ball" video has formed a habit.

The controversial VMA 2013 star also mentioned that her "topless pic is showing less than when I wear clothes" and that people are proving her point "so easily" after posting the photo.

Miley Cyrus had both the second and third top spots in YouTube's most popular videos of 2013, HypeBot.com reports, leaving many wondering if her VMA Performance earlier this year bought her an all-time high in popularity. 

The "Wrecking Ball" singer was also nominated for Time's "Person of the Year" award earlier this year, eventually losing to Pope Francis.

Miley Cyrus has turned down an offer to perform on Miami's New Year's Eve party and has instead chosen to perform at Times Square inNew York City on the same day, EOnline.com reports, giving fans the impression the success from her 'Wrecking Ball' track has made her cocky.

"Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!" she wrote on her Twitter page.

Ryan Seacrest retweeted herpost and mentioned that he will announce more performers for the show.
