Kate Winslet's Children With Different Fathers Attacked By Group's Latest Ad; 'The Reader' Actress Issued Legal Warning To 'Fathers4Justice'

Kate Winslet's children have different fathers which prompted a particular group to use them as examples for their latest advertorial. In one of her interviews for Vogue, Winslet recalled how some people wondered whether her children encounter difficulty with their living arrangements.

The 'Divergent' actress was quick to defend herself: "People go, 'Oh, my God! Those poor children! They must have gone through so much.' Says who? They've always been with me. They don't go from pillar to post; they're not flown here and there with nannies." She emphasized that her children live with her. However, Fathers4Justice think differently about Kate Winslet's children.

The group's latest advert says, "Kate, every child deserves their father this Christmas." This immediately caught the attention of the Oscar-winning actress who threatened to sue the group if it would proceed with publication. A legal warning has been issued already to the group by Winslet's camp.

Fathers 4 Justice is a United Kingdom-based organization with 36,000 registered families. One of its stated missions is to "ensure all children have meaningful and loving relationships with their fathers."

Despite the warning, the group will still reportedly proceed with their advertorial. "We believe the content of the advert is accurate, balanced and reflective of her comments. Fathers4Justice has not made any comment in our advert about the personal arrangements of Kate Winslet and the fathers of her children," says the group's campaign manager, Nadine O'Connor.

The 38-year-old actress just gave birth to a baby boy with her husband Ned Rocknroll. Her two other children, 13-year-old Mia and nine-year-old Joe, are from her previous marriages with film directors Jim Threapleton and Sam Mendes.
