Manchester United will face off against rival West Ham United on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Manchester United, coming out of a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Manchester United Manager David Moyes is said to be gamblinb with Robin van Persie's fitness and is damaging the team, Raymond Verheijen said according to The Telegraph.

 "I went to the training sessions and I could see what they were doing with Robin van Persie. He had to do a lot of running work and sometimes he even had to do it twice a day," he said.

"You have to keep in mind that he missed the first week of pre-season so his fitness level was lower than the rest of the team. That already means you have to be careful.

West Ham United, coming out of a 0-0 tie with Sunderland, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

West Ham United Manager Sam Allardyce said he hopes his players can "kick on" from their Capital One Cup quarter-final victory against Tottentham, according to BBC Sports.

"We saw the shaken nerve-ends of Tottenham when we scored," he said, according to the website.

"For me, the challenge is to get the players to kick on from this."
