Install Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update On Samsung Galaxy Note 2; New Stock Firmware With Build Number N7100XXUEML3 Available For GT-N7100 Units

A new stock firmware based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now available for the international version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can now install the latest and official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update as the South Korean phone manufacturer recently rolled out a new firmware with build number N7100XXUEML3 for the phablet.

Particularly, the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean XXUEML3 update is available for users of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 located in South Asian countries, as posted on International Business Times. It is compatible to Galaxy Note 2 units with model number GT-N7100.

The firmware is available as an Over-the-Air or OTA update. Furthermore, users can also access the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update via the Samsung KIES server.

Meanwhile, those who cannot wait for the OTA update to arrive on their region can choose to install the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update manually. Since the firmware N7100XXUEML3 is an unbranded version of the firmware, it can be installed to any factory unlocked units of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100.

Before proceeding to install the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, there are some requirements and conditions to meet first. First, make sure that the battery level of the phablet is at least 80 percent to ensure that the battery will not be drained during the installation process.

Second, and again to reiterate, the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in the form of XXUEML3 firmware is only compatible to the GT-N7100 variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Using the firmware on other variants can damage the device.

Third, to connect the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 successfully on your computer, make sure that the appropriate USB driver is installed.

Fourth, create a backup of all the data and settings stored on the Samsung Galaxy Note before installing the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Custom recovery tools, ClockWorkMod or TWRP can be used to create the backup.
