Holiday Tablet Deals 2013: Black Friday weekend all the way to Cyber Monday, tablets both big and small has been in-demand. This year we saw the most intense competition amongst tablets, with Amazon and Google keeping their prices low with Apple and Samsung responding accordingly and Microsoft reminding everybody its here to stay, notes The Next Web.

Engadget in their weekly summary of the best tablet deals for the week shared three deals that will yield up to $120 in savings to the budget-savvy tech consumer.

Nexus 7 at $50 off from HomeDepot


The Google-branded 7-inch slab has earned a 91 Engadget Global Score, thanks to its faithful Android following and solid performance. The unit just got an Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, further improving its performance. It’s available from Home Depot for $179, down from it’s original retail price of $229.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (TF701T) from $450 to $400 on Amazon.com

It’s the manufacturing partner of Google for its Nexus tablet, but Asus has its own version of a high-quality 10.1-inch device with a 299 ppi and 13-hour battery life. The weekly Engadget deals review noted that the site’s editors has been “smitten” with the tablet’s crisp resolution and display for Android apps. The current slate is $50 cheaper when purchased at Amazon.com

Barnes and Noble Nook HD+ priced at $149 from $269 on Office Depot

It’s the e-reader that’s going head-to-head with Amazon’s Kindle Fire HDX. Google Play is available on the device and it has a personal library function as well. It’s a $120 off less from it’s original $269 MSRP.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 almost 50% off at $130 from MacMall

The smaller Galaxy Tab 2 7.0’s price tag is at 90-day low, Engadget says. The Android-powered unit has reliable performance and a solid battery life. It’s important to note though that this unit has already been discontinued.
