Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Is 12.2-inch Device Called Samsung Galaxy Note Pro; Rumored Specs Of Device Include LCD Display, 3GB RAM & 9,500 mAh Battery

Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2, which has been rumored since September is expected to debut to consumers as Samsung Galaxy Note Pro. According Ubergizmo, the news “has seemingly been ‘confirmed’ in a private Samsung event held in Korea.”

Rumored specs of the 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro include a WQXGA LCD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, 3GB of RAM and a 9,500 mAh battery. It is expected to run on Android 4.4 KitKat and may possibly be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Expo next month.

In what could be the first leaked image of the device, SamMobile posted a picture featuring the back of the Note Pro, citing CDPKorea.com as the source. The Samsung-focused site says that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro will come in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2, there are three other Samsung tablets that’s expected to be unveiled soon. These includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

Reports on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro suggest to take the news with a grain of salt as all news on the devices are rooted on speculations and purported leaks. There could be more solid and official updates on these devices once the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV takes place.

The first news on a 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy tablet came hours after the South Korean tech giant launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear in Berlin last September.
