Wonder Girls to Mentor 'K-Pop Star' Contestants

Wonder Girls is to become a mentor for the contestants on SBS ‘K-Pop Star.’

The episode aired on March 25 the top 6 surviving contestants were divided into three groups each casted into SM, YG, and JYP. The current top 6 contestants are in training with their agency before the fifth live audition on April 1.

Wonder Girls are said to have been participating in the training of ‘K-Pop Star’ contestants at JYP where judge Park Jin Young also personally produces the contestants.

Already Wonder Girls have visited the last four live auditions cheering for the contestants. The girls who are active in their overseas activities are to a mentor for the contestants.

Especially member Yeeun and Yubin has been reported to have been enthusiastic and actively participated in selecting songs, suggesting ideas as if preparing for a performance for themselves.

Wonder Girls’ Yeeun is said to have been taking care of the contestants mentally and Yubin is to have helped them in styling.

A ‘K-Pop Star’ representative shared, “SM, YG and JYP are preparing their very best for the stage as if it was a new singer preparing for their debut performance. The contestants are expected to show a professional high quality performance receiving the big support from each agency.”

The top 6 contestants who have received training from SM, YG and JYP next round of audition is to take place on April 1 at 6PM KST.
