Ian Somerhalder Dating Preference Is Someone Whom He Does Not Work With; 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Already Closed His Door For Co-Star Nina Dobrev?
Will Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev get back together? Such question appears to have been answered last December 14 during Creation Entertainment's 'The Vampire Diaries' convention in Orlando, Florida.
When the 'Lost' actor was asked whether he would date one of the staff members of his Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF), the blue-eyed actor admitted that he would never date his colleagues. When his response was posted on ISF's website, fans commented and said that the actor once made an exception. The fans were pertaining to Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's relationship which lasted for three years.
The 'Vampire Diaries' actor noticed how the fans reacted and he replied, "Actually twice." Apart from the Canadian beauty, the 35-year-old actor similarly dated Maggie Grace in 2006. Grace plays the role of Somerhalder's stepsister in 'Lost'.
Apart from filming, Somerhalder is also busy with his environmental advocacies. One of his latest Instagram photos shows his support for Prairie Paper Ventures, a paper production company which uses crop waste as its primary material instead of trees.
With the upcoming 100th episode of 'The Vampire Diaries', viewers cannot help but ask about the Salvatore brother who will ultimately end up with Elena Gilbert. "I think Damon definitely loves her more," says Somerhalder.
'The Vampire Diaries' Season 5's 100th episode entitled '500 Years of Solitude' will be airing on January 23, 2014 on the CW Network.
