Prince William’s Voicemail Hacked; Voice Message Reveals How He Calls Duchess Of Cambridge His ‘Babykins’

Prince William's voicemails have been hacked which revealed several private aspects of his life. The voicemails were allegedly hacked from several recipients which included Prince William's brother, Prince Harry, and his then-girlfriend, Kate Middleton.

As a part of investigation for the hacking case, the jury played some of the voice messages. The case has been filed against News of the World's editorial team after finding the tapes and transcripts of the voice messages inside editor Clive Goodman's office. The other materials were recovered from Glenn Mulcaire, the one tasked by Goodman to hack the personal phone lines of the Royal family member.

One voice message was obtained from the Duchess of Cambridge. That time, Prince William had limited access at Sandhurst Royal military Academy. After a night navigation exercise, he decided to phone his then-girlfriend. He talked about how he nearly got shot after accidentally walking into a different regiment's ambush. Several of his messages to Middleton revealed his terms of endearment to the brunette beauty - "baby" and "babykins".

Another voice message shows that even princes can similarly joke with their brothers. In the said voice message, Prince William was contacting Prince Harry by pretending to be the latter's former girlfriend Chelsy Davy: "You are the best looking ginger I have ever seen. you really are quite ugly for a ginger, I hope you're having a lovely time, I really miss you."

Apart from the family members, the now-defunct news outfit also illegally intercepted the communication lines of the royal household.
