Barbara Walters ‘Most Fascinating People’ Interview Rejection?! Three Hollywood A-Listers Turn Down Exclusives With The Journalist?

Is Barbara Walters losing her magic touch? Three A-list celebrities reportedly turned down her request for an exclusive interview for her yearly "10 Most Fascinating People" TV show.

According to Radar Online, Robert Downey Jr., Jay Z and Kristen Stewart all declined to be part of the show.

"The real story behind the show is who turned down a sit-down with the interview queen for her annual special," the source told the news mag.

"Typically, Barbara very carefully starts approaching people in September for the special, but she always accounts for getting turned down by some of her interview targets. They start with 30 names and narrow it down to get all the interviews done for Thanksgiving," Radar, quoting the source, added.

It's interesting why the "Iron Man" star declined to be interviewed because he no longer has any skeletons in the closet, considering his past addiction with alcohol and drugs are well documented.

Beyonce's husband, Jay Z, meanwhile is always elusive when it comes to interviews.

How about Stewart? Is she trying to dodge a potential embarrassing situation if Barbara will bring up again her dalliance with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders? It would be understandable since she and Robert Pattinson seem to be dating again.

But the source has a much simpler explanation: "Kristen hates being interviewed by anybody with a passion."

This year's list of "10 Most Fascinating People" includes Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, twerking former Disney princess Miley Cyrus, cancer survivor Robin Roberts, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (or Kimye, as she called them), the cast of Duck Dynasty, royal baby Prince George (son of Prince William and Duchess Catherine),  and this year's winner, Hillary Clinton.

Her list became a subject of many punchlines, including one by comedienne Sandra Berndhard who called Barbara Walters out for breeding a dumber generation with her inclusion of the "Duck Dynasty" in the list.
