Justin Bieber Retiring From Singing Twitter Prank? ‘Heartbreaker’ Singer Tells His Fans ‘I’m Never Leaving You’

Justin Bieber told his fans on Twitter "I'm never leaving you," leaving many beliebers wondering if his post about retiring from singing was a prank.

"The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle," the teen heartthrob wrote almost an hour after announcing his retirement.

When he announced on Twitter on Christmas Eve that he is retiring from singing, he left many fans wondering if his break up with Selena Gomez was to blame.

The "Heartbreaker" singer has been the focus of negative attention following his split with his ex-girlfriend, being accused of having sexual encounters with prostitutes in Brazil and ordering his bodyguards to attack photojournalists hungry for a story.

However, some believe the retirement announcement was a hoax.

"It is all for show," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"He is going to take some time off, but retiring is an impossibility."

The teen heartthrob wrote the Tweet a day before the premiere of his "Believe" film, giving many the impressions he was trying to bring attention to the film.

Selena Gomez posted a picture on Instagram on Saturday with a caption mentioning that she's "thankful for the future" just after canceling her tour in Australia and a few days after the "Heartbreaker" singer announced his possible retirement.

"I'm the happiest I've been in a while," she wrote in a photo caption of her cuddling with her baby sister.

"So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved."

The post left many fans wondering if she was considering a retirement herself.
