'American Hustle' Cast Member Jennifer Lawrence Dissed By Joan Rivers; 'Fashion Police' Co-Host Says Actress Should 'Grow Up'

It appears that "American Hustle" cast member Jennifer Lawrence is adored by everyone except veteran comedian Joan Rivers.

In a recent interview with the New York Post, the "Fashion Police" co-host didn't hide her resentment toward Lawrence.

"My New Year’s resolution is [ensuring] Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down," said the 80-year-old funny gal to the publication.

The ill words of Rivers may stem from an insult Lawrence made about the "Fashion Police" back in November.

"The Hunger Games" star said shows like "Fashion Police" influence youthful individuals to judge people based on "all the wrong values and that it's OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat."

Initially, Rivers responded to the 23-year-old's comment buy declaring on Twitter that the actress was nothing but "arrogant and a hypocrite."

In the past awards season, "Fashion Police" was noted for praising Lawrence's sense of style.

Although the "American Hustle" thespian didn't directly make a comeback to Rivers' tweets, she did say it should be "illegal to call somebody fat on TV" in an interview with Barbara Walters.

Lawrence is known for her belief in not losing weight for roles, her hatred for dieting, and being open about when she is Photoshopped.

Despite these modest characteristics the actress claims to have, Rivers is calling her bluff.

“I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican," Rivers said to the Post. "Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it.”
