‘The Last Of Us’ DLC Release Date Set For Early 2014; Naughty Dog To Reveal More News About Upcoming Single Player Add-On In January [TRAILER]

"The Last of Us" DLC release date is slated to arrive soon.

Fans of the highly successful post-apocalyptic survival game are now anticipating "The Last Of Us" DLC. Fortunately, gamers will only need to wait for a few more weeks before The Last of Us release date finally happens.

According to report on Explosion, the first ever The Last of Us DLC is arriving early 2014. Also, more news about The Last Of Us DLC release date will be revealed in January, according to a post on the official PlayStation Blog by Eric Monacelli, the Naughty Dog Community Strategist.

The post reads, "If you haven't heard yet our first ever single player DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind, will be available to download in early 2014."

Naughty Dog revealed the first The Last Of Us DLC in November, as posted on DL Central. The new content will "focus on Ellie and her story before events of the main game during her time at a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone." Furthermore, the upcoming The Last of Us DLC will also introduce Riley, Ellie's bestfriend, as a new character.

"The Last of Us" arrived in the market on June 2013 and currently available in all regions exclusively on the PlayStation 3. A multiplayer DLC was already released for the popular game. Called Abandoned Territories, this DLC brings in 4 new multiplayer maps offering a diverse gameplay experience.

Moreover, the gaming industry is also busy speculating about the potential port of The Last of Us to PS3 at some point in the future. And responding to a fan's query about it, Monacelli said, "We're just getting our Naughty Dog engine up and running on PS4 as we work on the next Uncharted project.We will see what the future brings! :)"
