Zac Efron Rehab Sobriety Chip Makes Its Debut; 'Neighbors' Actor Also Recovering From Jaw Injury

After Zac Efron's rehab stint last April for his alleged alcohol and substance abuse, the 26-year-old actor was spotted sporting a blue sobriety chip during an LA Lakers game in Los Angeles a week ago.

The distinct blue chip is from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). The special chip is distributed during meetings to symbolize encouragement. Efron proudly showed the chip by using it with a chain around his neck. Zac Efron's rehab stint was primarily the wish of his family after noticing the California-born actor's unstable mood.

Apart from his alcohol and substance abuse recovery, the 'Neighbors' actor is similarly recuperating from a jaw injury which took place last month. 

Despite rumors that he broke his jaw after spending time with a girl, the former Disney star said that the injury was a result of him slipping on a puddle.

Due to the tremendous pain, the 'That Awkward Moment' actor had to cancel several promotional tours for the movie. Nonetheless, insiders claim that the actor is now doing fine.

While he is currently not in a relationship, the actor is reportedly going out with his ex-girlfriend Lily Collins. Sources close to Efron claim that the 24-year-old 'City of Bones' actress is a great influence to Efron following his rehabilitation.
