Tom Daley Wears 'Gay' Apron As Bob Harper Comes Out On The Biggest Loser: 'Being Gay Doesn't Mean Being Weak'

It's been quite the year for gay celebrities coming out, and Tom Daley and Bob Harper are just two recent athletic figures who have decided to come out.

Recently, Tom Daley celebrated Christmas with boyfriend Dustin Lance Black, and the pair received matching "Gay Icon" rainbow apron" from their respective family members.

"I'd never felt the feeling of love. It happened so quickly," said Tom Daley recently on "Jonathan Ross." "I was completely overwhelmed by it to the point I can't get him out of my head all the time. I've never had it before where I love someone and they love me just as much."

"All that I feel happy about at the moment is that I'm dating a guy and couldn't be happier. It shouldn't matter who I'm dating and I hope people can be happy for me...My life at the moment is perfect."

Another celebrity who echoes Tom Daley's sentiment is Bob Harper, "The Biggest Loser" trainer who recently came out to inspire a contestant.

"I haven't talked about my sexuality on this show ever, and now meeting Bobby [Saleem], I really do believe this is the right time," he said on "The Biggest Loser" last month according to E! Online. "I want to show Bobby that he doesn't have to live in shame."

"I totally understand what you're talking about. I totally get it—I'm gay. I think that when I came out, when I was 17 years old, it was one of those kinds of things where I realized there were so many obstacles... But being gay doesn't mean being weak. Being gay doesn't mean that you are less than anybody else. It's just who you are."

Tom Daley and Bob Harper have a lot to celebrate for their brave words.
