Fulham will face off against rival West Ham United on Wednesday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.
Fulham, coming out of a 6-0 loss to Hull City, is expected to be the underdog in the match.
Fulham Manager René Meulensteen said he can keep his team up amidst difficult times, the Irish Times reports.
"I am confident because of the sort of experiences I've had for so many years at Manchester United. I know what is required at the top end of the Premier League," he said, according to the site.
"This is a different challenge with different pressure. This is making sure you realise the need to keep three teams below you. Don't even speak about getting into the top six, top 10, whatever it is."
West Ham United, coming out of a 3-3 draw with West Bromwich, is expected to be the favorite in the match.
West Ham United Manager Sam Allardyce said injuries will decide the fate of his team as they approach their next match, BBC Sports reports.
"The deciding factor will not be what signings we make, but how quickly our injured players come back," he said, according to the site.
"If the players missing were fit, we'd have won the game."
