Liverpool will face off against rival Hull City on Wednesday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Liverpool, coming out of a 2-1 loss to Chelsea, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers said he wants no repeat of a Hull CIty horror show at Anfield, The Telegraph reports.

"We know it's going to be like any game at this level - a very tough game," he said, according to the site.

"They're coming off the back of a victory that doesn't happen too often when you're in the Premier League, especially when it's 0-0 at half-time. It was a terrific result."

Hull City, coming out of a 6-0 victory over Fulham, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Hull City Manager Steve Bruce said he backs Tom Huddlestone to take short cut to Brazil after the midfield "masterclass" against Fulham, The Independent reports.

"The lads stood and applauded Tom when he walked into the dressing room and that doesn't happen often," Bruce said, according to the site.

"I don't often pick out individuals but I don't think I've witnessed a performance as good as I've just seen from Tom. He gave a masterclass of how to play in midfield. He had the lot: free-kicks, passing range, goals, a shot from 40 yards. He hit the post and the bar... he's just an outstanding footballer, absolutely outstanding."
