Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date Coming To 10 Micromax Handsets, No Specific Time Frame For Release Announced
The Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date was back in November, but until now statistics shows that it only accounts for more than one percent of all Android handsets in the world.
Late last week, HTC released an infographic showing how Android updates are developed and rolled out to devices. However, it looks like Micromax has already been through most of it as it is rumored to release KitKat on 10 of its devices.

10, that's a lot considering that the Indian manufacturer could have released these phones in a span of two years. In a report by GSM Arena, an internal document shows that the newest version of Android will arrive on models A250, A240, A210, A200, A116, A116, A116i, A111, A110Q, and A110. Unfortunately, no specific Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date was inlcuded in the document.
Micromax has been one of the emerging smartphone brands due to its powerful but affordable lineup of smartphones, the latest of which is the Canvas Turbo.
The Indian manufacturer has also tapped Australian actor Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) as its brand ambassador for its upcoming handsets.
With these kinds of developments for Micromax, getting the support of the market is certainly within arm's reach.
