Scarlett Johansson is hot in movies and wants to heat things up behind the camera. The Sexiest Woman alive wants to get into directing.

The 29-year-old actress Scarlett Johansson who has starred in such films as "Scoop", "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "The Prestige" has already conquered music and want to expand further. Contactmusic reported that Johansson has already bought the rights to books that she wants to translate into films

Scarlett Johansson told Bang Showbiz "I want to get into directing and I will at some point. I already bought the rights to some books. I'm in a point at my life where I'm sure of my choices and I'm interested in so many different things. I love art and galleries and music."

Scarlett Johansson made her film debut in the movie North in 1994. In 1996, she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for her performance in "Manny & Lo." She got great notices for her roles in "The Horse Whisperer" from 1998 and "Ghost World" in  2001 before moving on to adult roles like her turn in "Girl with a Pearl Earring"  and Sofia Coppola's "Lost in Translation" which were both released in 2003. She was nominated for Golden Globe Awards for both films. Johansson won a BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for "Lost in Translation."

Johansson says she has a lot of interests besides acting, like art and galleries and music.

Esquire called Scarlett Johansson the "Sexiest Woman Alive" in 2006. In February 2007, playboy named Scarlett Johansson the "Sexiest Celebrity" of the year by Playboy. She consistently ranks as one of the 100 sexiest famous women in FHM

GQ named Scarlett Johansson its Babe of the Year. Men's Health called her one of the "100 Hottest Women of All-Time."
