Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Archos Releases 2 Helium Smartphones That Will Suit Your Budget

There are a number of exciting upcoming Android phones in 2014, especially with the Consumer Electronics Show just a week away. But if you make sure that you get the bang for your buck, then these two devices may provide ideal options.

Archos has long been known for its affordable lineup of Android phones and tablets, and this year it opens the first week of 2014 with a release. In a report by GSM Arena, the company has announced two quality smartphones which are feature packed but come at very affordable prices.

The Archos 50 Helium 4G and 45 Helium 4G are two of this year's newest handsets, but with a price tag of only $249.99 and $199.99 respectively, any Android lover who sticks with his budget would surely love these devices.

However, are these Droids worth the buck? Hell yeah!

While the two devices have different screen sizes, 5" 720p display for 50 Helium, and 4.5" WVGA screen for the 45 Helium, both of them have identical composition inside.

Both Archos Helium Droids boast a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, Adreno 305 GPU, Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM, and a microSD slot.

The 50 Helium has a better 8MP camera and 2MP front cam, while the 45 Helium only has 5MP and VGA.

Archos is expected to feature the two phones during the CES 2014 in Las Vegas next week.
