Henry Cavill Preparing For Superman Role In Upcoming Film; ‘Man Of Steel’ Star Returning For ‘Batman VS. Superman’, Flick To Be Shot In Detroit, MI

Henry Cavill preparing for Superman role once again as the Hollywood hunk and “Man of Steel” star will reprise his role for the sequel, Batman vs. Superman.

According to The Inquisitr, part of the filming will take place in Detroit, Michigan and the city is expecting a lot of money and celebrities to pour in the city as production gets under way in the coming weeks.

The highly anticipated film features the cape crusader, Batman, to be played by Ben Affleck. Gotham’s hero will face off with Kansas City-native Superman, played by Henry Cavill.

The big budget Hollywood production has given no hints on what the script may look like. At this point, there are more rumors than facts on what it may look like. Justin Bieber posted an Instagram photo of him possessing a script, prompting many to speculate that he could be Robin.

One confirmed detail is that Zack Snyder will be returning at the helm to direct the “Man of Steel” sequel. Snyder actually informed audience about him being part of “Batman vs. Superman” during a fan event online when the DVD for “Man of Steel” was released.

Warner Bros has also announced that Gal Galdot, will be playing the role of Wonder Woman. There is no details as to how significant the role of Wonder Woman is in the film crowded by already two major superhero characters.

Amy Adams is expected to return as Henry Cavill’s love interest in the role of Lois Lane, the Inquisitr notes. Lane played the role of the intrepid reporter bent on finding out the identity of Clark Kent in “Man of Steel” and ended up falling in love with him.

According to the Michigan Film Office, the “Batman vs. Superman” film is the largest production to date in the state. The film office’s public relation’s manager, Michelle Grinnell, says that it’s exciting for the like of Henry Cavill to work in the state.

The budget of “Batman vs. Superman” hovers at $131 million and the film will not only use the studio but actually shoot on location. The filming is expected to bring in around $5 million in much needed revenue for the city and an estimated 6,000 jobs to the economy.
