LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S4 Specs: Android Flagships Must Have Compared, Both With 13MP Cameras, Which Device Would You Choose?

LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S4: Android flagships seems to have been all the rage for 2013 and as 2014 dawns, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and LG G2 still seems to be two devices who would competing for your attention. Until we get the LG G3 and the Samsung Galaxy S5, here’s a quick comparison of these two handsets.

When looking at the processors, the G2 is just a tad bit more powerful than the S4. When it comes to memory, they are both equipped with 2GB RAM. Looking at the screen resolution, they both have 1,920 by 1,080 Full HD resolutions. This review will put both devices cameras head to head to see how they do.

Once again, the two device manufacturers, LG and Samsung both decided to go for the same number of megapixels for the cameras. Both devices are boasting 13 Megapixel cameras.

When it comes to capturing photos outdoors or when it is a nice sunny day, it is obvious as is the case with most smartphones that they do well. Looking at the G2 pictures however, they have colors that are a bit deeper with a little more detail than the GS4.

When it comes to the indoors photos or in a dim setting, the difference between the two device cameras becomes very clear. The G2 takes better photos overall than the GS4. When you do not use a flash on either device and have the image stabilization, The LG will have a better focus than the S4. This means less blurry photos. The photos will also have much less grain, more rich colors and higher detail than the Samsung. With the GS4, you will have to try quite a number of times before you can get a shot you are satisfied with.

When you switch on the flash, the GS4 will bleach out people and objects as the flash is a bit too strong. The G2 on the other hand spreads out its flash well throughout the frames so that there is an accurate representation of the subjects in the frames. Both of these devices however take a long 5 seconds to grab a photo with the flash on.
