New Legend Of Korra Book 3 Image, Plus The Rift Part 2 Cover And Release Date: Bolin, Naga, Pabu, And Oogi

As 2014 begins, several tidbits regarding "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 and the "Avatar" graphic novel "The Rift" have surfaced.

Firstly, "The Rift" Part 1 will be released in comic store on March 5, and now a release date and cover image for Part 2 has been released.

According to Amazon, the release date for "The Rift" Part 2 will be July 29, although other sources believe that it will actually be released 13 days ahead of time, so July 16 is another possibility.

The image seems to hint at a storyline involving the Fire Nation/Earth Kingdom Refinery, so stay tuned and be sure to grab Part 1 when it comes out!

Secondly, "The Legend of Korra" co-creator Bryan Konietzko has released another teaser image from Book 3, "Change." This time, it features our favorite group of "Korra" animals.

"Book 3 buddies," said Bryan Konietzko on his Tumblr.

In the image, we can see Bolin hanging out with Pabu, Naga, and a flying bison which Avatar the Last Airbender Online believes to be Oogi.

"It doesn't look like Air Temple Island in the background so where are they?" asked Morgan Bannon.

This is the second official image from "The Legend Korra" Book 3. The first image features none other than fan favorite Lin Beifong.

Several months back at a "Legend of Korra" art book signing and Q&A panel, a fan asked about Lin Beifong's presence in Book 2, and some were disappointed with the answer.

"Lin's Dad is just a mystery to me," teased Michael DiMartino regarding the identity of Lin's father and Toph's supposed lover. "We've got great stuff planned for Lin and her family. It's not right away, so don't be mad if it doesn't happen right away."

"Book 2, for the Lin fans...she's not very heavily featured in Book 2, BUT, very heavily featured in Book 3," continued Bryan Konietzko.
