Xiaomi Mi3 Review: Specs Of Flagship Incl. 5-inch Full HD Display, 13MP Sony Camera; Well Designed But Not Yet There

Xiaomi Mi3 reviews: GizChina says that the Xiaomi Mi3, which sold 100,000 units in 86 seconds when it was first released, can be a replacement to the Samsung Galaxy S3. The publication said that the device is “almost perfect and any issues can easily be solved with future firmware updates.”

But despite the beautiful design, impressive look and top-notch specs of the device, the Xiaomi Mi3 is not yet at par with the flagships made by tech giants Samsung, LG, Apple and Google.

Xiaomi Mi3 costs $327 for the 16GB model, while the 64GB model has a price tag of $410. Xiaomi, the manufacturer of the Mi3, touts it as the “fastest phone form Xiaomi.Ever.”

Xiaomi Mi 3 according to GizChina has a that camera makes high quality photos and much better than the normal phone. The handset, which was officially unveiled last September has a 5” Full HD and is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra-4 chipset with 1.8GHz. It’s also available with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.

Testing a Mi3 prototype, PC Mag noted that the build of the Xiaomi flagship is similar to the body of a Nokia Lumia 920. The publication described it as “heavy, with smooth rolled, a big glass screen and a broad speaker grille.”

PCMag said that the Mi3 looks great before you turn it on, but the publication noted that after about five minutes, the unit didn’t feel like it had the finish of the latest top-of-the-line phones.

The Xiaomi Mi3 features 2GB of RAM, 13MP Sony Exymor RCMOS rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 3,050 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi3 will also be featuring the company’s latest MIUI interface.
